Financial Wellbeing – staff support and events

People right across the UK will find balancing their financial budgets slightly more difficult this year as the cost of living continues to go up.

It is understandable that our staff may be worried about financial difficulties – as we are not only seeing increases in national insurance and inflation, but petrol prices are on the rise alongside bills for electricity, gas, mobile phones, and council tax.

This can contribute to increased levels of stress and anxiety for our colleagues, at a time when this may already be heightened.

We would therefore like to make staff aware of the financial tools and assistance available to them at Newcastle Trust, which we hope will lighten this burden a little:

We have joined forces with Barclays to run a series of financial wellbeing events for staff over the coming months.  

The sessions will cover the following themes:

  • Take Control of your Credit Score
  • Becoming a First Time Buyer
  • Ready to Buy your First Home
  • Moving Or Improving?

Help with any energy worries

Our Chaplaincy Team has booked two sessions with Helping Hands for staff to get advice on ways to manage the increase in fuel costs.

The events will be held via Teams on 22 and 29 March, 11.30 till 12.30 and will cover the following areas:

  • Energy Grants
  • What to do if my Supplier ceases Trading
