The Medical Education team provide high quality education for all medical students and junior doctors at Newcastle Hospitals. They offer varied and diverse learning opportunities to support all trainees to progress their education and develop their skills in patient care.
As one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK, the team accommodates approximately 25 percent of trainees within Health Education North East. They take great pride in delivering a comprehensive Foundation Programme to newly qualifying doctors.
The Medical Education team is responsible for ensuring the Quality Control of undergraduate and postgraduate medical training within the Trust and meeting the GMC standards for training.
