People at our Heart Award Winners Announced

We were delighted to host our first People at our Heart Awards ceremony since before the pandemic on Friday 2 September as part of Thank you Month.

Our People at our Heart Awards are an opportunity to shine a light on an individual, team or volunteer that does an incredible job and goes above and beyond the call of duty.  All permanent Trust employees and volunteers are eligible to be nominated – so whether you’re a patient, a colleague, a carer, a volunteer, or one of our partners, you have the chance to celebrate and reward those who go that extra mile in delivering care or treatment.

The People at our Heart Awards judging panel is made up of clinical and non-clinical staff, patient and governor representatives. At the end of each quarter, the panel come together to review each of the nominations received and as a group they select two individual winners, one volunteer and one winning team.  This year’s very special event celebrated everyone who was shortlisted throughout 2021 and 2022.
