Our Long Service Awards are an opportunity for us to thank our longest serving members of staff and recognise the contribution they have made to Newcastle Hospitals over the years

Our Long Service Awards recognise the contribution, hard work and loyalty of staff who have been with the Trust for 25, 35 and even 45 years.

What do the Long Service Awards involve?

Eligible colleagues are invited along to an evening event to receive their Long Service Award. 

The event is a lovely opportunity for staff and their guest to share their memories and reflect on their experiences of working at Newcastle Hospitals. 

Staff can also meet some of the other people who joined the Trust at a similar time.

What do I receive?

Colleagues receive a letter thanking them for their service, along with a voucher and one of our coveted Long Service Award pin badges. 


The awards are for staff who have 25, 35 and 45 years of service. Our Staff Engagement team will contact you directly if you are eligible for an award. However, if you think you are eligible and have not been contacted, please send your name, payroll number and the year you started with Newcastle Hospitals to [email protected].
