The facilities include a range of cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills, cross trainers, rowers and also resistance machines such as chest press, shoulder press and many more.
The Fitness Centres have their own changing rooms with showers, lockers and hairdryers and music is provided by Digital TV and a sound system. We also have sky news on mute via Digital TV.
You must complete a compulsory online virtual induction before we allow use of the facilities. Once you have submitted your pre-exercise questionnaire and declaration forms we will process your application and add access onto your trust card.

Situated on the link corridor between the Podium block and the Cardiothoracic Centre on Level 2. Opposite the internal entrance to the IOT.
RVI Fitness Centre
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week
Situated in the new Clinical Office Block at the RVI in the Education Centre. You can access it via the link corridor from New Victoria Wing.
